Careless bristlenose pleco knocking over aquatic plants

I only had them knock over freshly planted with out an established root system.

you could get egg crate stuff from home depot. put it on the bottom of the tank, then tether your plants to the egg crate and then put your substrate down. the pleco wouldnt be able to uproot the entire bottom of the tank. or you could just stick with big, hearty plants like anubias and java moss that you can anchor to something heavy
