Goldfish in distress

I am not sure how often I should clean and condition my two goldfish's water? It is starting to look mucky after only a week and a half with a good filter. Does anyone have advice? Also, i am petrified of feeding too much or too little, I have been trying to ere on the side of caution in not overfeeding them, the instruction "as much as they can eat in a few minutes" is very unhelpful to me, anyone, help??

I realize that I know next to nothing about fsh and most of you seem to be experts but I would really appreaciate some advice.........

Should I change the ****ing water or what?

I try to feed my goldies once a day to every other day. If you feed them every other day, it will simulate the 'wild' side of the fish as in nature, fish don't eat a few minutes 2-3 times daily. They are lucky to eat once a week.

I feed my goldies about 2 flakes per inch of fish. They have a huge appetite. They also like peas and oranges. You should do a 25-50% water change weekly. What filter do you have and what size tank do you have?
