I have successfully bred/spawned cory cats many times in the past 5 years. If your cats accidentally hatch eggs in a tank that is populated by other fish, the eggs will be eaten. Plecos especially like them! Once, when my cats did that, I had about 12 eggs. What I did to get the eggs out was, very gently, rolled my finger against them. When you do this, the eggs stick to your fingers. Then, when the eggs are stuck to your finger, you can then transplant them to another tank. With the eggs stuck, roll your finger against the glass of the second, empty tank. The eggs will usually restick to the wall of the new tank, though some may fall off to the bottom . Not to worry, though; even the fallen eggs will hatch if they are kept in healthy conditions! I have done this with up to 50 eggs at once and have no had problems. Just be careful not to roll to hard on the eggs or they will pop!
