I have a 30 gallon long that I want to have different tiers if you will that will have a waterfall at the very top, going into a pool of water, that will go down a river then fall into another pool of water, that will then travel down another river into the main pool of water. How would be the best way to make this effect happen? GSF and carve the river out of it? Just dont know how I'm going to make the different tiers yet any suggestions would be great. What pump/filter would you recommend to get the waterfall going to would be helpful. Thanks all!

I'd suggest looking at this thread for some ideas on how to make your tiers and scenery: http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=136377

And just for clarification, I assume that you want to make something like this?:

What is GSF? Cool idea.

Great Stuff Foam, probably the #1 most used product for building vivs/palus.

Oh. I've never seen it but it sounds like cool stuff. Can it be used in a tank with fish?

Yes, although for submersed applications I recommend covering it with aquarium silicone to seal it. I let it cure for two weeks before sealing. If you work in small sections you can press dry cocofiber, sand, and stones into the silicone.

I am seriously thinking about doing this after I come back from vacation.
