I have a Pictus Cat that I just got today and all night it has been rusing up and down one of the corners. Is this bad? It's been fed and has a place to hide.

It could be exploring the tank

yeah, my pictus cats used to do that too when i had my 29 gallon.

Do you have a test kit? I would test your parameters (ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate) quite frequently and do wc's as necessary to keep the ammonia and nitrite as close to 0 as possible. Also, its likely he is just settling in. I would give it some time, but watch those parameters! Do you have another tank running that you can add filter media from?

He's not doing it anymore but is still flying around the tank so I'm guessing it's just exploration. The rainbow shark just sits under the bridge all the time and comes out for food :D
