Cat Skeleton

okay so what if I got Virus and Bacteria confused. so what if a bacteria is a living organism, or a virus is a non living entity.

either way for the sake of the OP question I think we have all made it very clear that there are reasons why man fears death, and why the dead are moved, burried, burned etc. etc.

but it seems clear to me that the OP is going to continue this, so I suggest the water method, it takes about 6 months, and will clean the bones fairly well if you have a good deal of patience, along with miltary grade gas masks because there is probably stuff worse than anthrax.
 
A few months ago while riding around in the oilfields on my golf cart, I found a Bull Skull with huge horns approx 4 or 5 ft across. I think its a Longhorn. It still has hide on it but was past the stinking stage. I lugged it home. It weighs a good 100 pounds. it is huge! Its in my barn until I get around to cleaning it up and deciding what to do with it hehe.

Strangely enough, my brother has a military grade gas mask that he found at a local shop.....

I've been rethinking what might have caused the death of the cat and I don't think it's disease anymore. Here's why. I found it several months after it had already died and begun to decay (the ribcage was exposed). It was doubled over backward with its head was almost touching its back. The legs were kind of contorted as well, making me think it died in a not-so-painless way, and almost suddenly. We do have quite a few copperheads around here, especially in our backward which is heavily forested.

I think the cat finally got what it was asking for and a copperhead bit it.

The weird part about this whole thing is that we never noticed any bad odor coming from it, ever.

I got a few feet away from it when I first saw it. I thought something dug up a plant at first and that the ribs were roots. I think the reason it took us so long to notice it was because of the lack of smell. I have no idea why this happened.

This is nothing compared to what the live feral cats have left around our house. About 10 years ago we found a squirrel's spine, rear leg, and tail on our deck in a pool of blood. We used to have all sorts of birds nesting on our deck, but they all vacated when the cats left the dismembered, decapitated bodies of baby swallows on our deck. We've tried removing them, but more keep coming back.
 
ewie. cats hate citrus, so save up some orange peels and place them along the parameter of your home! =D

I'll try that out next time we get oranges.

Thanks! I asked her about this on her thread about her bone cleaning work, but no recent activity on that thread.
 
Yea- I pin oranges to drapes and areas I dont want the cats clawing. They stay clear away! ;)
