I've never encountered this before with any of my bettas... but my current female who is at least 2 years old has just gotten what looks like cataracts on her eyes. they are milky white dots and they look like they are on the outside. she can still see fine as she readily comes to me for her food. her eyes are the same size and she swims normal.
i was just away for two weeks and have come home to her having this eye problem. she was in good hands and fed well... the only thing different is that we have been having record heat here in vancouver (i have lost a goldfish cus of it). do you think the heat could be a cause? her tank has no heater but is always fairly warm.
maybe she's just old?
anyone else seen this before....?
thanks for your help
