hi .. does catfishes ( corys specially ) eat anubias ?

i never could keep anubias in my tank , whenever i tried they just torn apart ,w lotsa holes on them .. i asked the guy in FS and he says the catfishes ate them ! i have no problem with other plants , i have anacharis ,cryptocoryne, cabomba and lotsa corkscrews ... so whats wrong ?

Pond snails (or any other snails) shouldn't be eating leaves unless they are starved. Otherwise they only go after already dead plant matter.

Anubias aren't picky but I would guess a nutrient/light deficiency over the corys eating them...

I am 99.9% positive that that cory's would never touch anubias. unless ofcourese they are starving:) and even then they probably wouldnt.

Talking about catfish, what about synodontis cats and plants, is that a problem?
