Catfish for 30-gallon riparium

Do the petricolas shoal and swim around during the day?

That Marketplace sale looks really good. I could even do a drive and go pick them up.

Brad,
Thanks for the referral. Yes, I have syno. petricolas and they are in reg. tap water. My husband and I breed them and I have the parents. They are very healthy and would make a great addition to your tank. They are a peaceful fish and get along with most other fish.

The way mine act is they typically follow each other around from cave to cave. They spend most of the day swimming but like to be in a shadows when doing so. As for getting along with other fish I have a pleco that gets cranky when fish get to close and they don't seem to care at all. The leave him alone and aren't even bothered when he tries to chase them. I feed them sinking sticks and they actually will grab a stick in there mouth and drag it into a cave to eat. It's pretty cool to watch, really smart and active fish.

I keep my synos with my mbuna. The synos are still babies but as they have grown they come out more and more. The mbuna tried t mess with them at first but soon realized it wasn't worth the time. The synos are pretty easy going and very active. They are good eaters and pretty hardy from what I've seen.
