Catfish ID Please ?

I've never had the trillineatus, but I've had alot of juliis. I'd have to say that that's a tri.

Just for the record, I was using a couple of Planet Catfish photos to make the ID. If you go over there, pull up a C. Julii photo and a C. Trillineatus photo, you can do a quick compare contrast, I love that site =).

Have to share this though, when I went I bought my "C. Julii" from the LFS way back when, one turned out to be a C. T and the other a C. J, and even the catfish couldn't tell the difference!

Aside from actually identifying it as C. julii or C. trilineatus, there is the problem of buying more. Fish suppliers often sell C. trilineatus under the name C. julii. I would go with looking for the best visual match at the LFS.

My vote is also for it being a C. trilineatus.
