catish recommendation in community tank

i have a 30 gallon, community tank (mostly neons, zebras, and tetras). I also have a fairly large pleco.

I'm curious everyone's recommendations for a good set of catfish. I'd like to pick up two, small active catfish to my tank. I haven't had much luck with albinos with this tank although I'm not sure why. I've tried on two occasions to add albinos to this tank and both times they didn't last more than a month. All of my other fish are doing well with most over 1 year.

**note, both times I tried albinos, I picked them up at a local petsmart store. normally I try to avoide these type of stores.

What kind of albinos were you adding? A 30 gallon is pretty small for most catfish. I suggest 5 or 6 corydoras if you have space. They are active, daytime feeders with personality and enjoy schooling.
