Cats & Algae Wafers....

The cat who ate the algae wafer only likes bright-orange cheese flavored products (cheeze-its, goldfish, cheese whiz, cheetos, etc...) and buttered popcorn. If chicken has cheese on it, he may eat it. He doesn't like much else, including seafood.

My other cat has a sweet-tooth, she enjoys anything creamy....milk, cream, ice cream (her favorite), yogurt, whipped cream, cool whip, anything creamy, sweet and vanilla-y. She has NOT asked for algae wafers...yet.

Odd, since cats (supposedly) cannot taste sweetness...

Mine would eat anything that held still long enough.. I miss him.

Ha! Didn't know that. Well, maybe it is a texture thing? She isn't a fan of much else....she doesn't like other soft foods that would also have that same texture (like cheese), chicken, fish, ....she doesn't even like wet food (only the juice around the outside). But when she sees that I am eating ice cream, she begs for it. She loves it more than milk or cream...no idea. Maybe she likes the coldness combined with the creaminess?

Well my cat like sweets, she eats red licorice and will come running from across the house if she smells or hears the package being opened.

My cat likes fruit...any time I eat an apple or pear or peach (he loves chasing skinned grapes! But doesn't care for citrus), he waits patiently for me to share a bite with him. Then he'll try to lick it, flicking it all over the apartment until he's rasped it down to a smaller size...and then he finishes it off. And last night while carving a pumpkin, I learned he loves the slimey pumpkin guts.
