Heyya folks. I was wondering about the lighting requirements for caulerpa. I was thinking about picking up a few inches. Also, any sorts of special care involved? Thank you very much.
I saw an episode of Nova on this stuff. They said it's man made and no fish eats it. Apperantly its gotten in to the medeteranean(sp) sea and growing like crazy, choking out everything else. No fish eats it so it has free roam, fish are starving. Its been sighted off california and australia.
We have a foxface that loves caulerpa...Seems to be his favorite of any algaes or greens we put in the tank. We have caulerpa growing in a 125 marine tank and it thrives in just regular lighting and filtration. Like I said, the Foxface loves it.
