CC for Multi substrate

I am thinking of setting up a multi tank in one of my tens, just can't stand to see them empty I have quite a bit of crushed coral and a small amount of sand. I know their digging habits but I am wondering if I were to do a substrate 90% CC and 10% sand will they still be able to dig without harming themselves??

I went 50/50 cc/pfs for my substrate in my multi tank. They constantly rearrange their substrate and I haven't noticed any issues.

Thanks I am just worried that with the large amount of crushed coral they won't be able to properly dig in it.

Its not something I would try but apparently it works.

It worries me a bit, gonna have to do a great amount of research it looks like
