Anybody have any luck breeding Centrarchidae? Specifically the Orange Spotted Sunfish?

If you have come across this thread and are wondering "what the heck is an orange spotted sunfish!?" I have attached a couple pics.

If you have had luck breeding these fish I would appreciate any pointers!

Thanks!

I have never bread any fish, but I have caught literally hundreds of those while fishing. Those are young.

i personaly never have bread them ...but you can help trigger breading if you have a chiller on the tank w/ the temp around 50f and then brining it up 15+ degrees will usualy trigger them to spawn ...its like home made springtime ...works w/ most temperat/cold water fish

I never bred those but I have bred Pumpkinseeds, Red-Breasted and Longear Sunfish in a small outdoor pond.

Thanks!

Thanks! I'll give it a try.
