CF vs VHO

IYO, which is better for plant growth or does it really matter? Assume of course the wattage being similar.

the big benefit to CF is the assortment of bulbs available.

with VHO the selection is more limited. they were originally set for marine tanks.

so there is a good choice in actinic lights..
they do have tri phosphor daylight bulbs for VHO

I found these worked best for VHO.

Watt per watt, VHO are better than PC in terms of PAR output.
