Anyone keeping one of these? I saw one in a LFS today and was thinking about adding it to one of my larger tanks. Awesome looking fish even if it is a bit ugly. If you're keeping one I'd appreciate any info you could provide. I've found a little bit online but would like keepers experiences.

Thanks in advance...

My parents had one a few years ago. It was THE most ugly fish. Thankfully it buried itself most of the time with just its massive mouth showing, then ate anything that swam close enough. It caught a cory and the cory immediately stuck its dorsal fin up so the chaca couldn't swallow it nor could he release it. My parents had to grab the chaca and prise its mouth open so that the cory could be released. It was good fun trying to drop sinking food and watching the chaca lunge at it, but it could only live with large fish.

several years ago, Ginny Echstein ( not sure of the spelling) did an article on them in the catfish corner in Aquarium fish mag. You might try their archives. All i remember is that they got real expensive to feed.
