i had put my chailosi into my 55g (since they were going there in a few weeks anyway) after i moved the caudopuncts to a 10g. they were doing fine but thismorning i found one dead on the bottom of the tank. i wanted to trade those spare males for some females! it cost $29 to go buy more males. they havnt been fighting with the others so what the heck happened?:mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::mad2::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear::swear:

Been there and done that man i hate losing fish but sometimes it happens just keep going is all you can do..

not quite sure what caused it though. i wish i knew.

well thats one less male i can trade lol. the dominant one is already back to his old self but the other ones are still stress and not colored up.

Did you check the water parameters in the 55gal, to see if they were similar to those parameters in the previous chailosi tank?

they should be the same since its all the same water and stuff. i move fish between the tanks alot and none of the others have ever stressed before.

and PB. i cant. at $19-29 apeice locally it costs a small fortune.

yea. dude im so mad. another went missing bringing me down to 3. and now my j. transcriptus are beating the crap out of the nondominant ones and the one is shreded apart. so now i have to cut down the numbers of the J. trans. maybe my local store will trade them for a yellow lab.
