My oblongum pair laid eggs today for the first time for me, and second ever. The parents are the fish in my avatar. They are really good parents so far, constantly fanning them, defending them from other fish, etc. Just wanted to share.

The eggs have all been turning white over the past few days. Any ideas why?

the some of the eggs are not futalized when i got my pair it took over 3 times to get the breeding right just give it time. They are very good parents

I know what, the color means, but I was just looking for a cause. Well, they are fine and turning into wigglers and being relocated today. My plan is to siphon them into a bucket and then pour them into the breeding net in the tank. How old should they be when I do this?

u can try it now but i cant garentee if they are going to live or not. if they dont just wait 2 weeks and there will be more eggs

They were in a patch of java moss, so I jsut pulled the moss into the breeder net. I have no idea if I got all of them or not, but the parents are very pissed and still defending the area.

I will never strip so early again. I think I lost all of the fry too. :wall:
