Changing colors

Hey everyone. I am wondering if anyone has pictures or a resource that would show me the 'phases' of auratus and kennyi males changing colors. I am trying to sex the fish I have and two auratus that seem a very pale yellow and seem to be vying for dominance and I am wondering if the lack of color is them changing into their male 'uniform' or they are just pale from stress or something else.
