heres my take on the whole filtration deal the aqua clears are kick butt mechanical filtration in my opinion they are among the best money can buy when it comes to H.O.T.(hang off the tank) but i like the marineland with the biowheel i dont think the AC's hold a candle to them. i feel i can make these statements because i have an AC 50 and an AC 70 runnin a 56 gallon and i have a marineland 200 and a 350 runnin a 55 gallon. but its all about personal preferance. i am about to set up a 125 with 2 AC110's and a fluval 404(messy south and central american cichlids).
