Cheap Lighting for 75 Gallon Aquarium?? Plants I want listed :)

I'll chime in on the Ctenopoma - I would not trust one with rainbowfish unless they are really big ones. I'm not sure how big the turqoise rainbows get, but they should be pretty good sized compared to the Ctenopoma or they will get eaten. My "Leafy" ate all my tetras when he was only about 2.5-3 inches. I never would have believed he could have even fit them in his mouth. Awesome fish though! They definitely lurk a lot, and mine is usually found in one of his hideouts just watching and waiting.

I'd be tempted by these T-5 shop lights http://www.homedepot.com/Lighting-F...splay?catalogId=10053&langId=-1&storeId=10051 I have some 2x T-5 HOs over my 4 ft tanks & like them, they're not shop lights but I can grow quite a few medium+ light plants without CO2 & I like the way they look. Can't beat the price & better than my 3x T-8 fixture, I think...

Do you have a fish club near you? Ours has a PAR meter available to borrow. It can really show just what you get for the money (altough I haven't done it yet) LEDs may not be as wonderful for the price yet from what I've seen.
