Nope, they can't see it - everything comes crawling out just like night time. I usually turn them on shortly before the main lights go off and then leave them on for an hour or two for some quality night viewing.
 
I still haven't got the blue lights. Now I am thinking I should get both the red and the blue. Maybe that would be to much clutter on the tank. Hell, I don't know.

Well, one project I'm working on this week is to create a modular style moonlite strip. Standard 12v power supply that you plug in, with the LEDS in it being seperately adjustable.

Using LEDS of red and blue... I've noticed a lot of people saying that fish cannot see red, why is that?
