Cheapest place to find glass?

with my experience trying to fix a 30 gallon tank, I got quotes anywhere from $60-$120 for 1 pane of glass. I wont try to get any fixed anymore because of those prices

According to you, you have several busted tanks that need repair. If the glass on all of them is 3/8" and under all you need is a $5 glass cutter and a few razor knifes $4, GE silicon I gun tube $4, 200 grit sanding block $2, and white distilled vinegar $1, go to U-tube for instructions and start dismantling and reassembling a few new tanks without buying any glass. Your the Cap right and the coolest person ever, so you can do this...:thumbsup:

Definately diassemble the broken tanks and make a couple good ones. If your not comfortable cutting the glass to size, pay to have it cut at the glass shop.

I've been ripped off too many times by people on Craigslist. I can't afford to buy a new tank anymore. I have a collection of broken tanks.
