Got the reactor idea from rexgrigg, although i had to improvise a little since the Home Depot or Lowes didnt have all the same parts.

Pretty easy to make, i think it should work well. On the intake side you can see where i made a T with a cap to make it easier to prime the pump. And on the outtake i put two 1/2" barbs that i can swivle to change the direction flow.

The only thing left to do is drill a hole into the reactor for the CO2 tubing. Which im gonna wait till i get my regulator so i know what size of hose to use.

It looks like the water is flowing up through the reactor? If that is true, the co2 bubbles will just flow out with the water without mixing. The water needs to flow down through the reactor, so the co2 stays at the top and the water splashes down through it, mixing them together.

Agree. In rex's reactors the outtake of the canister filter goes in the top of the reactor and then water flows down the reactor and back up to the tank...

well, i guess i will have to fix that, i did not see that, glad you guys pointed that out before i completely finished it. :)

CO2 reactor redone. How is this? Should give the CO2 plenty of time to mix with the water.

looks good. how long is the reactor part? and did you put any media in there?

Rex's I believe are 24" and doesn't use media because it can clog.

Beautiful
