yea i know i cant figure out how to take good pics of the aquarium i dont know if its the camera or me, i was gonna get zooanthids but they werent very collorfull so i chose the ric's the orange one is pimp it glows in the moon light ill post some night pics later

What kind of camera do you have and does it have a macro setting. Also having a tripod helps.

I have an olympus fe-190 point and shoot camera. it has a digital image stabilization mode and then u can make it go into macro mode too. Although i need to get a tripod all my friends that are in photography tell me to get one.

thanks for the info its a kodak camer not sure what model but i believe it has a marco setting i will have to check it out

help i have three questions about my corals i, 1. i came home from work yesterday to find my green ric upside down on the sand, thinking the best thing i could do was to pic it up and flip it over there is noting on thed bottom side to grab hold of so i gently grabed the coral and flipped it over so the question is could this have cause any harm to the coral either being upside down on the sand or me fliping it over? 2. i woke up this morning to find the once again the green ric about 4 inches away from where i first put it in the tank is there any way it could have moved it self or did some thing push it? 3. how long should i aclimate them to the light i have read some aclimation guides that say to slowly move them up the rocks to their final resting place over a couple of weeks is this true? i am running a t5ho light with a 1 watt blue lunar light

Your rics should be just fine and no rics dont move most likely it is the flow that is moving and flipping it over. I usually find a small rock and use some netting and wrap it over the ric and around the rock until it attaches then remove the netting. What brand of ficture is it that you have and what bulbs do you have in it??
