Hi... hope it's okay that I post on here more than you do lol, I love your tank-- I'm particularly jealous of your Corynactis. I've never seen such a wide variety of color types in one place (certainly not in an aquarium). I was wondering... In doing some research I've noticed that there are actually a number of Corynactis species in your locale. Do you know which one(s) you have? If so, how can you tell? Any new specimens?

Here's a few more tank shots....including a pretty mauve sponge recently collected.Some of the shots are from above,looking into the tank through a glass box....a different perspective.
Answering kingwintergreen's question....all the coryactis are the same species,just different colour morphs....same as the strawberries off the Cal coast,and the viridis off the south-western UK coasts....beats me why there are so many different colours,especially as my collection are all within several hundred meters of each other!

The camera is a simple fujipics pocket-sized job....6 megapix.I shoot into the water from above with a really simple set-up. Cut the bottom out of an ice-cream tub....glue a sheet of glass to replace....all you need to do then, is to push the box just below the water-line to get a crystal clear shot.....I never use a flash,as it tends to burn-out areas of the frame,(and can reflect badly off the glass).

Amazing! Im not generally a fan of salt water but I happened to see this and if I could do it I'd be totally in love lol!
