Here's a shot of a new jewel anemone rock recently gathered on a dive....weighs a hefty 5 kgs/ 12 lbs, so quite a challenge to get ashore!
It's doing well with polyps extended and feeding...
very very impressive ! I am not sure if anyone has asked but what camera are you using to take your shots ? and by the look of your last pics you might have upgraded the cam or lens
You're correct on the camera change....just used an ordinary Fuji digi-cam for most of my shots over the past couple of years, but recently changed to a Canon DSLR....much better quality on the macro shots.
Here's a few shots showing the diversity in my jewel anemone temperate marine tank...fretsaw weed growing naturally on the tips of an old fan coral,a yellow / green encrusting sponge and a red tube worm.
