I just got a 3-pack of sponge filters for the AquaClear line of power filters from PetSmart (it's like $3.79) looks like these: http://www.google.com/products/cata...aAh4TZaXPIb2rAG3rYSMCg&sqi=2&ved=0CEEQ8wIwAw#

I cut a slit down the center with a sharp kitchen knife, and then I break off every other plastic rib on the inlet tube of my filter so it doesn't slow down the water intake.

My flash pics always look bad, but you can see how deep the red is when the leaves are new.

Really fine looking plant - looks great. It'll probably do quite well in that low light with a root tab.
Your tank looks superb as well with that wood.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm constantly changing things up with the plants, but if the Flame Sword continues to do this well, It will get to stay!!
