i use the seachem flourish excel (organic carbon for the planted aquarium) in my planted tank, along with about 2 wpg, and my plants are growing well. one capful daily in a 46 bowfront works well, along with seachem flourish (comprehensive supplement for the planted aquarium) once a week.
