According to Dave's article about Ich, he recommends 2tsp per gallon of water... a tsp is 5ml.... so in a 10gal tank that is 100ml, right?

I rescued a betta from wal mart who has EXTREME ich... so i figure high temp and salt for a few days and see what is going on, if it looks good gonna just continue it for 2week period. if not maybe, as a last resort to save fish, use a malachite green/formalin treatment.

Your math is right on. Just make sure that you actually have 10g of water.

yeah, he says between 1tsp to 3tsp.. recommending 2tsp to start out with, so i figure it wont hurt if missing one gallon due to gravel/decorations.... not to mention it is a REALLY BAD case of ich.

That should be fine. Just add your salt a little at a time. Hope he gets better for you.
