I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong but everytime I test my chelated iron levels, it says 0 even after I add Plant Gro Iron Enriched. I use a Nutrafin Master test kit. Has anyone else had problems with the iron tests?

I own one I haven't tried yet, but everything I've read and been told leads me to believe that an Fe test kit is a waste of money. I ordered mine before asking, and got nothing but bad reviews.

It came with the master test kit so at least I didn't waste money on it I guess. But why is it in there if it doesn't work?!

If you do find that you need extra Iron, I started buying CSM+B+Fe from Gregg Watson and have really had good results. I previously used flourish and Florish Iron for extra, but have gotten better results with less mess and money from the gregg watson supplies than I did with Flourish products.
As mentioned above Gregg offers iron cheleat but he also offer the CSM+B trace mix which has a good bit of iron, and for those who need more he offers the CSM+B+Fe which has a slightly higher iron content than the standard product.
