Have added 5 pairs of cherry barb's (small in size) in 10 gallon tank plant tank and they look very shy and when light is on they are always in the bottom of the tank. Day 1 completed not sure when to start feed them

Cherry barbs are great fish. They are very easy to feed, will likely take pretty much any flake or small pellet food offered. I like something slow sinking, though they will hunt at the substrate.

Most likely, they will get used to the light, but this is really natural behavior. Daylight means predators at the surface, so they will tend to hide in the shadows. You can add plants, floating or large leaved, like an anubias, to provide more places at the top for them to hang out.

Except that your pretty much fully stocked for fish, a few extra females can help diffuse any male aggression. Like OG said, plants can help break up sight lines & help them feel more secure.

Thanks. Also colour of the fish is white hope actual colour will be visible in couple of weeks.

Males are the only ones who really color up, and there is an albino strain, as well, easily identified by the pink eyes. Females will get red highlights, while males in breeding color are very bold red.
