I've had five females get pregnant and I've seen the eggs deposited in moss, but I've yet to see one baby. During this time I haven't lost any shrimp to my knowledge. They are in a shrimp only tank- ph7.0, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, soft gh,120 kh, and 5 ppm nitrate. I don't have a sponge on my intake, but I check the water I empty from my filter when cleaning and have never seen a baby. Exactly how small are they? I've heard putting iodine and/or ketapang in will increase the survival of the shrimplets? I also have three ghost and seven bee shrimp in with the cherries.

Well I just fanned my gravel and spotted a couple. My bee shrimp are so much nicer looking than my cherries. They eat twice as fast too. They prefer algae over fish food unlike my cherries. Now if I can only get them to breed!

I'm currently trying to breed cherry shrimp with no success so far. From what I've read though, the females keep the eggs on their bodies 'til they hatch. They don't deposit them on plants. Also, ghost shrimp will eat baby cherry shrimp.
