Ive had my Eclipse 6 gallon cherry shrimp tank for about 3 or 4 months and we see eggs but never see any babies. My water parameters are good. Zero ammonia, zero nitrite and .10 nitrates. The water temperature is about 80 degrees farenheit without a heater. Turned it off during the summer. Any ideas?

Do you have a cover on your intake? And how many shrimp do you have? Do you have any fish in there with them?
ya...what tank you have and what you have in it, really makes a big different...

yes I have a cover over the filter so i know the babies aren't getting sucked in. No fish in there, just cherry shrimp and pond snails. The ph is 7.6 (maybe too high). I feed them every other day, usually algae wafers sometimes pellets sometimes crab and lobster bites.
Have you checked the filter for babies? I keep sponges over all my intakes and always have shrimp in the filter. 7.6 pH isn't too high. You do have male shrimp in there right? Females can still produce eggs but...well...this seems silly to even write...the eggs won't be fertilized without a male:idea:
My suggestion to most when they aren't getting reproduction is to increase feeding. Most feed sparingly to prevent polluting the water which is great, but not so great for breeding/growing population.
