How red do are they when fully grown?

Depends on their environment, I have found. My shrimp in tanks with dark substrate and alot of tannins are a deep vibrant red, the ones in tanks with less tannins and a light substrate are paler and more speckled in appearance although still noticeably red.

everyone was looking perfect when I got them!! The are going to town on the java moss in the tank and loving life. I always have trouble seening them but as soon as I put them in the tank after acclimation, they are all lined up eating away! makes me curious why some have yellow eggs and some have green. I've noticed the same colors under the shells of some of my cherries, some have a yellow bit under the shell and some have a greenishblue bit under the shell... they're not carrying eggs though
