My pregnant cherry shrimp has started releasing her babies. Should I get something to feed these little guys? How long before I will see color in them?
Color in which way? to see if they are alive. or to tell male\female?
It all depends on water parameters and other tank mates. but if they are self propelling they are alive.Oh and you could try using some food blended into liquid and release it near them, just nothing really high in protien WHEN they start to move around...
Oh and I am not sure but the moma might realize she is carying around very tastey food
In my 27g tank, where i have a around 20 RCS, every week I drop a dried leaf into the tank from a tree in my backyard. It usually floats, so i have it held down by a rock; all the shrimp love cleaning it off.
if thats not available to you, then you can just grind up an algae wafer or something.
