i would like to get a colony of cherry shrimp going in my 65 gallon befor my angels get to big. anywhere for 15-20 shrimp would be good. shipping would be to 16822. thanks

So ne one sending you cherry shrimp would be sending them to their eventual demise?

Sounds that way,i wouldnt recommend putting cherries with angels, they wont last once the angels figure out they are tastey

the tank is fully planted! and the angel as of now, have about quarter size bodys, thats why i'd like to get a breedeing colony started now, so that once the angels do get a bit bigger there'll be so many of them that theres no way the angels can eat them all. plus i'm just raising tw of the angels until they get a bit bigger for a friend that way them can put them in the display tank with there bigger angels. so realy only one angel wouldbe in the tank when they get big enough to eat the shrimp. and fully planted he might get a few but theres gonna be allot that he wont.

i want some as well.. maybe 10... shipping to 92021! san diego california dude!! :D

pickup would be preferable though :)

i've put some ghost shrimp in with my betta.. and i've figured my betta out.. he tries to bite anything strange or new and after about 3-4 bites.. if those bites don't yield any food.. he leaves whatever it is alone..... just gotta put big cherries in there first.. and all will be well!! :headbang2:

Trust me you, you misunderestimate the vorasity of an angelfish. I have a THICK mat of javamoss and a massive cluster of hortwort, two very dense plants. I also have live bearers. I didn't see a single fry until two weeks after I took the angel out and rehomed him. I would however see him hone in on something from across the tank, then dive down and and eat whatever was in the javamoss, slaming into the slate below but always swiming away full. Just wait until they are ready for your friend, it's absolute heartbreaking to lose your favorite species in the tank to one you didn't particularly want anyways.
