I am going to get cherry shrimps this weekend and consider change the tank from 1/5" - 1/4 "gravel to small sand size approximately 1/16"-1/8". The tank also have guppies, albino cories, & dwarf bn. Any input would be appreciated.

I see no problems with your plan.

The Guppies will eat juvies. I wouldn't put them in there unless full grown.

do you have java moss? I put cherry juveniles in my community tank and 90% survived by hiding in the java moss until they grew out enough.
