A real ENTREPENEUR.

Hey Beviking. What's up man? Still in business? It's been a long time since I last been here, but yea, you are still in business. I see things are going good, huh? You musta made a fortune selling them famous Red Cherry Shrimps.:read: :coffee2: But just between the two of us, you think you might need a co-executive manager to run this business. Yea, like a right hand man? I know it's a lot of work for one man. You bring the shipping box, I get the shimps nicely packaged and ship. You get the flow? You know they say that 2 heads think better than one. This could go BIG, you know, maybe upgrade to a worldwide aquarium store that sells everything that there is to sell about aquariums, especializing in Red Cherry Shrimps. Tanks, plants, livestock, freshwater, saltwater..you name, we have it! You bring in you expertise, and I bring in my enthusiasm, it shall be a recipe for success! And at the same time we shall be serving the community, making people happy, putting smiles on little kids faces and most, importantly teaching people how to care for these great pets that are fish! I even got us a logo, "Let the Red Cherry Shrimps Trive!"

So what ya say man? Stay in peace.

Good doing business with ya,
(your right-hand man)Yuri.

i wanted to thank Beviking for the great service and beautiful healthy shrimp. all are doing good and gradualy turning reach red. :thm: :thm: :thm:

how long does it take for them to get red?

it should take from a couple of minutes/hours to whenever the water condition is right enough for them to get settled in. as long as your water parameters are right then they'll turn red. i've noticed my old cherries they have no colors/ clear in the morning when i turn on the lights and then 5 mins later they gradually turn red. just wait, it will be a wittle bit until your babies turn red.

Ha ha Yuri! Get in line buddy. Everyone wants to go bigger but that's not going to happen  I don't think what I'm doing can be called a business...have you seen the prices? Plus the extra care, material, and shrimp...it's just not business-like. If I didn't enjoy doing this, I'd have given up a long time ago!!! I do have a plan for a small expansion, more like a reconfiguring of my set-up, so I can keep seperate shrimp and snail species, but I'm in no hurry to do that either.
I appreciate the offer though and if things change, I'll contact you, just don't hold your breath. Think you can handle the northeast climate?:girl: LOL

You're welcome BadRoma1! Enjoy!

splatt3 is right daayda3. Just to reiterate...NOT all shrimp will get deep dark red. Like people, there are variations in individual shrimp. Females are generally more dark than males but either can be darker or lighter in color. Females get the darkest, males the lightest. It is very rare to see a transparent female, but not so with males. Under stress, either can become very pale, regardless of their 'normal' coloration. If you're relying on algae in the tank to supply your shrimp with nurishment and your shrimp are pale, try feeding them. Underfed shrimp are stressed shrimp and will not exhibit their true color.

Beviking,

sent you an email that i got my shrimps today!!!! woohoo!!! they're in the tank now and doing great. thanks for the extra plants and the extra shrimps. love them. they all made it.

For those of you who are interested in getting some shrimps from Beviking but worried that they might go bye-bye on the way, dont' worry. He packages them pretty well, tons and tons of styrofoams, bubblewraps, etc... and heatpacks. it took me a while to dig in and find my package and its worth it because all the shrimps got thru the 23 degree weather outside. I think he overdid the packaging department ...lol... i understand though cuz that just shows that he still cares about his shrimps even though he's giving them to a new owner. good job! definately will do business again.

You also need not worry because I guarantee live arrival. You either get a full refund, or I re-ship at no extra cost.

lwooters, yes I have 3 planted tanks and have many different species of plants that I let go when they outgrow their space. Seems I always have something on hand. Yes, your fish will try to eat the shrimp.

I'm going to also line up and put in a good word for Bill. He shipped on Monday and my shrimp were in my tank by Wednesday. The shrimp were well packed and in a fairly large box that cost him 7.55 to ship, this is not including the bubble wrap, foam, heat pack, box, and special bags he puts the shrimp in. He only charges $7 to ship, so when you order shrimp make sure to order a few extra to help cover his extra cost in shipping and the time he puts into packing it all up.
Bill also took his time to answer any of my questions via email.
So I have to give Bill an A+ and if you need cherry shrimp he is the one that can get them to you.

Thank you Bill for the great healthy shrimp, I enjoy watching this tank just as much as my fish tank now :)
Philip

Thank you Philip C!
Some cost a little more, some cost a little less. I enjoy the shrimp and try to provide others with an opportunity to do so without breaking their piggy bank :)
Would you be willing to let others know what state you live in so everyone knows you don't just live down the street from me here in New York? :D
