Chicago 94.7 The Zone

uhhhhhh.......did I miss a big joke or something? Is there a reason the only cool station just went to sh*t? or did they move or something....it seems like every year the baddest a**ed stations fizzle out 94.7 was allright, kinda played the same stuff, but better than any other...and I still mis WillRock :sad: Does anyone have any info cuz http://947thezone.com still lists it as up :huh: I think I am on the losing end of a bad joke maybe :huh: and there was no warning?

That always drives me nuts too...and they always change over night! Without warning! One day you're listening to metal..the next spanish...and there are so few independents left.....

Poor Sub. I remember when WLS was THE station to listen to...and I remember when it went talk. That majorly sucked. It had ruled for years as the rock station to listen to. :cool2:

Yeah! Nursie, I used to listen to WLS when I did my late-night driving to and from college in Kansas back in the 80s! Great station-I liked it better than any of the local stations!
