Babies starving in a storm drain are amusing?

I have as warped a sense of humor as anyone- guess I just don't get it.

I dont find it amusing either (kind of like puppies falling in a well. Maybe I just don't get it?)....but wasn't this part of a larger series of photos...and it showed the people rescuing all of the babies?

More disturbing than them falling.. was that someone watched them and took pictures instead of shooing them away from it once the first one fell through.....
