Does anyone have any experience with Chili Rasbora's (Boraras brigittae)? I've heard that they're hard to keep because they're sensitive to water conditions...

Okay. I just happened to read that on aquabid when I was scoping some out.

I want these! When I set up my 10 gallon tank, I special ordered these from a local small aquarium shop (that is no longer in business). What I got was hengeli rasboras, which I like well enough but they are not what I ordered. I don't know how closely related these two are. I have mine in fairly hard well water, pH about 7.4. They seem to be thriving. I've had them over a year and a half. They LOVE frozen daphinia. i also feed frozen blood worm, Hikari micro pellets and some flake food.

I want some of the Chili's for my 55 gallon dwarf tank. :D

I have about 15 in my 20 long (they move so fast its hard to count). I bought mine from aquabid as well and couldn't believe how tiny they are when they arrived. I think they are quite hardy. Mine were lost in transit for about 5 days and arrived with no DOAs. I keep mine in a planted tank with a pH 0f 7.2.

They are a good pick. Small, colorful, and quite cute. :)

I have 7.4 PH. I was hoping to get a school of 6-10. But I'm still a couple of weeks from getting them cause I just ordered 3 other critters. The wife limits me on what I'm allowed to buy...lol.

Go for 10...they don't really school much and once you see how small they are you will wish you had more! I'm actually thinking about getting 10 more for my tank. I know the feeling...I'm getting 2 orders of fish this week and have to have come patience to avoid buying more myself. :)

I may take your advice on this StarStruck8. :) Thanks!
