Chinese algea eating shrimp?

Are they ok with cherry shrimp?I just got them from petsmart..Which i went today and saved like 45 dollars with price matching

Yes, I don't think there are any chinese algae eating shrimp. Amanos are from Japan, and considering bettas are called many different names, inlcuding chinese and japanese fighting fish, I wouldn't be surprised if Petsmart got the name mixed up.

Yeah they are amano shrimp, they are okay with cherries,

If you feed 'em algae wafers now & then, spread 'em out or the Amanos will outcompete the cherries, pushing them tight off... Cherries are busy, but Amanos are busier & larger.
