Chip/Bubble in New Tank

The manufacturer is Aqueon. Has anyone got anything to say about them? What to do what to do..............

Here is my graphical representation of the problem with the chip being red and actual depth indeterminate

if it really is that salow i wouldnt wory about it, i have a chip like that and my tank has been running for ever

So after agonizing about this thing over the past two days I have given in and decided to take it back. While I could sleep at night it was definitely on my thoughts alot. Now that I have decided I feel alot better. Thank you all for your thoughts.

I will be spending the evening scooping out my 100lbs of gravel :(

I'm thinking it looks like a chip - probably shallow from the looks of it, certainly there before silicone application, so it wouldn't hurt anything, but I would probably return the tank if it were mine as it is unsightly and right in the front.

PS - FWIW: I work w/ lots of glassware - am pretty familiar with all manners of breakage & patterns...

Keep us updated on how it goes...and of course, some pics of your new tank.

I will post some pics when I have more than bare gravel and water...

Not looking forward to the gravel scooping after work. Anyone got any special techniques?
