Chlorine comes out of the water in 24 hours, right?
If so, could you put tap water in a clean i gallon jug (think milk jug)
leave the cap of for 24hrs, and then use it?

Also, where should i move my dalmation mollie fry (5) minimum?

Also, What does everyone think the best way to earn money is if you cant get a proffesional job (a kid) ?

Thanks

correct, but I would either put the water in buckets or cut the tops of the milk cartons, to allow for better gas exchange.

a 10g rearing/growout tank

Being nice to your parents?

can i get away with leaving them in a ten gallon?

Well normally i would cut the tops or use a bucket, but my mom has this thing about open water an i have limited space so if i bump into them...

Not long term. Mollies will grow into 5 inch fish and a 10g is nowhere near big enough for that big a fish.

Then, you should use a water conditioner like prime(the best and cheapest one IMO and IME), so you don't aggrevate your mom or posion your fish.

For you the best things seems to go with Prime. Simply add this to the water when you are adding water to the tank. It might seem as though it costs more and it does but in the long run it will save you money. Most other type of dechlorineators will make you add 5ml per every 5-10g were Prime only needs 2 drops per 10g. It also works very well and will last you much longer then other products. This way also you will not need to leave any jugs of water laying around.
