so I'm obviously no master of photography. I still haven't figured out how to deal with a flash and tank. But you can get the idea anyway. He actually has a gorgeous mint green fringe along his fins at the tips. IT doesn't show here at all.
I have to question all the reports about how hard they are to keep now.
I think the breeders are starting to put out hardier fish because we have had 6 living in a tank for 6 months at 7.6 Ph and no losses weekly water changes. They are thriving and doing well. 2 years ago I would not have touched one with a 10 foot pole but now we bring them in when ava. and sell them on a regular basis with very few losses. Most losses we can track to the owner not acclimating them right or some other human error.
I won't say they are a beginner fish by any means but we have had good luck with them maybe others out there are having the same luck recently. Believe me I was real worried about the first shipment we brought in too.
