The 6 red-eyes I have have been around for quite a while already. Survived two tank moves and re-setups without a single loss. They don't nip fins very much either. I've had a betta along with guppies with them and they didn't cause any trouble. They mostly chase each other around.
After alot of reading and wandering through the LFS's I finally decided on black phantom's. I like the subdued colors and the females present a nice contrast. I was only able to get 7 of them, three females and four males. I would like to add at least three more females to the group.
I'd snap pics, but even in the 10g quarantine tank they are too small and fast for my camera.
