Christmas Present

My husband has turned the corner. Instead of complaining about my hobby he went out and bought me a 125 for Christmas. :headbang2: It came with the stand, canopy, sump (which I have no idea how to set up) with HOB overflow. Looks like I will be researching how to set this monster up. :)

Here's where I need help.... What do I put in it? I really want a black ghost knife fish. I was thinking Oscar, but am not sure. What else can I have in this tank? I am open to all sorts of ideas, but they have to work with the BGK. Thanks everyone!!
 
a black ghost knife will be great in a 125, oscar will not, unless you want to have 1 fish, even though most chiclids can beat them, they usually resort to just swallowing them whole.

But with the black ghost knife you can put a clown knife, or Bichirs, just other larger fish, that are not agresive.

Then to really make it lively you can put some peackocks in just as long as they won't fit in the clown knife huge mouth.

I have a 125 I am setting up for discus... Thought about putting a black ghost in there with 'em... Maybe a small arowana? One of the LR/FS's here has a camen in a 125... its almost too big for the tank though.

Hi Gwen.

What species are these gouramis? Snakeskin aren't bad an addition.:) It looks fine to me though I'd stick to only two sevs.
