Kinda get used to the noise and learn to block it out when you're inside, but outside its like an alarm is going off from all the chrips those things make.

I remember as a kid, we used to find as many shells as we could and hang them on the front of our shirts. Who ever got the most won!
I came across an assasin bug today that was two thirds emerged from shedding it's skin. It was very cool looking. They are orange when freshly emerged and they turn black with some red on them. Here's a link to the type it was: http://www.shawnolson.net/a/696/assassin-bug---darby-creek.html
